Fiat-to-crypto (on-ramps)
Now that your API key is set up, you can use the API key to buy and sell from fiat currency to cryptocurrency using Postman/Visual Studio Code (Code IDE), powered by Transak.
- 1.Use Postman to test the Securo Payment Module. You need to insert the API and API secret key on the global environment. (Please note that if you don't insert the API & API secret key, you won't be able to use the Fiat-to-crypto function.
- 2.Create payment request (Buy) and click "Send". You can use different fiat currencies to buy different cryptocurrencies in different networks. Please note that different networks support different payment methods.
- 3.After clicking "Send" the payment request is successfully created and it will provide a webview URL to access the payment gateway portal.
- 4.Click the webview URL link to make the payment. Select the respective currency and type in the amount you'd like to buy. Click “Buy Now”.
- 5.If you are using Transak for the first time, you need to complete the KYC verification step. Type in your email account.
- 6.The Transak system will send a one-time verification code to your email.
- 7.Once the verification is completed, you will land on the ‘Confirm your order’ step, where it shows the order details. Click ‘Add new card’ to complete the payment.
- 8.Type in the credit/debit card details. You can check this Transak document for card testing details.
- 9.Once the card is added, check the order details and click “Confirm”.
- 10.You will now see this image once the payment order is submitted successfully.
- 11.The processing time normally takes 1~3 minutes, then you will see the ‘All Done!’ message once the payment transfer is completed.
- 12.You can view the order history or transaction history on Transak or Securo application as below
- 1.Edit the invoice ID then click “Send”.
- 2.You will see the result is shown as below.
- 3.You will see this page if the payment request is expired.
